Scope of Application:

This shaker is compact yet powerful, offering versatile functions and reliable performance. It is specifically engineered for demanding modal applications and is suitable for SISO (Single Input, Single Output) and SIMO (Single Input, Multiple Output) testing of mechanical components such as engines, as well as MISO (Multiple Input, Single Output) testing of large structures.The shaker can generate impulse, sine, and random signals, features a wide frequency range from DC to 5000 Hz, provides a displacement of up to 25.4 mm (1 inch), and delivers significantly improved low-frequency performance.


Product Features:

1.This shaker offers a high force-to-weight ratio and, without external cooling, can deliver random force up to 70 N (15 lbf) and sine force up to 100 N (22 lbf).

2.The shaker incorporates a low-mass, high-stiffness armature suspended on springs, which minimizes force drop at resonance frequencies and improves the quality of force measurements. An integrated optical sensor enables precise control of the armature position.

3.The linear guidance system consists of four radial flexures at both the upper and lower ends, keeping the drive coil centered and enhancing operational stability. The flexure system maintains high stiffness in torsional and lateral directions to resist rotational motion of the device under test (DUT). This design also allows the shaker to absorb lateral forces without damaging its internal structure.

4.In modal testing, stingers or couplings are used to apply force to the DUT while minimizing interference from the shaker. All of our modal shakers feature a through-armature design for easy stinger installation. With a spring collet, tension or piano-wire stingers can be easily mounted; push–pull rods are equipped with threaded inserts ranging from M6 to 10-32 UNF.

5.The shaker can be supplied as a standalone unit (mounted on trunnions) or as a complete system, which also includes a matched 120 VA amplifier, a set of standard stingers, and all required cables.
