Scope of Application:
The frame front fork drop test machine is mainly used to simulate drop or impact scenarios that bicycles, electric bicycles, motorcycles, and other two-wheeled vehicles may encounter during actual use, in order to assess the structural strength, deformation resistance, and safety of the frame and front fork assembly.
Test Principle:
The assembly is supported at the rear axle connection point so that it can freely rotate in a vertical plane about the rear axle. The front fork is placed on a flat steel anvil, positioning the frame in its normal operating orientation.A 30 kg mass is securely fixed to the seat tube, with its center of gravity located on the seat tube axis and positioned 75 mm above the top surface of the seat tube. The assembly is then rotated about the rear axle so that the center of gravity of the 30 kg mass is directly above the rear axle, after which the assembly is released and allowed to fall freely onto the steel anvil.
