Scope of Application:
This instrument is used for testing the holding power of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes under high-temperature conditions. The test evaluates the ability of an adhesive tape, applied to a test panel according to standard procedures at a specified temperature, to resist displacement under a specified load acting along the length direction. The holding power of the adhesive tape is expressed by the time required for the test specimen to move a specified distance (or to completely detach), or by the displacement distance (or complete detachment) within a specified period of time.
