Product Overview:

Vibration stress relief is a process that uses the principle of resonance to eliminate and homogenize residual stresses in metal castings, forgings, welded structures, non-ferrous metals, and other components, thereby preventing dimensional deformation and cracking.As a modern method for residual stress elimination, vibration stress relief is based on harmonic resonance theory. Appropriate excitation equipment is rigidly fixed at suitable positions on the workpiece. By adjusting the excitation force and frequency, the workpiece is forced to vibrate within its resonant frequency range under periodic external forces. After a certain period of vibration, residual stresses are reduced and evenly redistributed, achieving improved dimensional stability of the component.
