Application Scope:
The battery heavy impact test machine is used to evaluate the stability of batteries under impact, simulating the possible shocks batteries may encounter during actual use, handling, or transportation, to determine their safety performance. It is widely applied in safety testing of various battery types, including lithium-ion batteries, primary lithium batteries, nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries, nickel-cadmium (NiCd) batteries, lead-acid batteries, and more.
Test Principle:
After fully charging the battery according to the test method specified in section 4.5.1, place the battery on the platform surface. A metal rod with a diameter of 1.58mm ± 0.2mm is laid horizontally on the geometric center of the battery’s top surface. A weight of 9.1kg ± 0.1kg is dropped freely from a height of 610mm ± 25mm to impact the battery surface with the metal rod, and the battery is observed for 6 hours.
Equipment Features:
1.The hammer is automatically lifted and stops automatically at the preset test height.
2.The hammer is released automatically to complete the test according to the test settings.
3.The chamber adopts a double-layer safety protection design.
4.The inner chamber is equipped with an exhaust fan and a high-temperature explosion-proof lamp.
