Application Scope:
This instrument is mainly used for evaluating the impact resistance of cushioning materials such as foam. It is suitable for testing thin foams, films, rubber sheets, and similar materials used in shock absorption, drop resistance, and cushioning protection for electronic products such as mobile phones.It is also widely applicable to packaging cartons, sponges, foams, and other cushioning materials, offering a broad range of applications across packaging and protective material industries.
Working Principle:
A steel ball of a specified mass is allowed to fall freely from a fixed height. Tests are conducted before and after placing the cushioning material. The maximum impact force, maximum impact energy, and the energy absorbed by the material are measured and recorded.By quantitatively comparing these data, the cushioning and energy-absorption performance of foam materials can be accurately evaluated.
