Scope of Application:
The corrugating medium fluter is used to prepare test specimens for corrugated medium flat crush (CMT) and corrugated medium compression (CCT) tests. It forms standard corrugation profiles by fluting the corrugating medium (laboratory corrugation forming).After fluting, the corrugated medium specimens are tested with a computer-controlled compression tester to determine the flat crush strength (CMT) and edgewise compression strength (CCT) of the corrugating medium base paper.
