HONGJIN
Scope of Application:
This machine is used to determine the indentation hardness of porous elastic materials. It is suitable for conducting tests on polyurethane sponge foam specimens in accordance with relevant national standards, accurately measuring the indentation hardness of materials such as sponge and foam.In addition, it can be used to measure the specified indentation hardness of finished seat foams (such as backrest foams and seat cushion foams), enabling accurate determination of the indentation hardness of various foam components used in seating products.
Product Features:
1.Automatic Zeroing: After the computer receives the test start command, the system automatically performs zero calibration.
2.Automatic Return: After the specimen fractures, the machine automatically returns to the initial position.
3.Automatic Range Switching: The system automatically switches measurement ranges according to the applied load, ensuring measurement accuracy.
4.Variable Speed Control: The test speed can be freely adjusted to suit different specimens.
5.Load Calibration: The system enables accurate calibration of force values.
6.Flexible Control Modes: Test methods can be selected according to requirements, including test force, test speed, displacement, and strain control.
7.Multi-purpose Functionality: By equipping sensors of different specifications, one machine can be used for multiple applications.
8.Curve Analysis: After the test, users can use the mouse to select any point on the test curve to obtain corresponding force and deformation data for analysis.
9.Real-time Display: Test data and curves are dynamically displayed during the testing process.
10.Result Management: Test results can be stored and retrieved, with data and curve analysis available.
11.Limit Protection: Equipped with both programmable and mechanical limit protection.
12.Overload Protection: The machine automatically stops when the load exceeds the rated capacity.
Test Principle:
In the sponge and foam compression indentation test, the specimen is placed between the upper and lower compression platens. The upper platen compresses the specimen downward at a specified speed. When the specimen reaches the indentation depth specified by national standards under Method A (or Method B / Method C), the load cell senses the applied force and feeds the signal back to the controller for processing and display. Based on this measured force, the indentation hardness of sponge, foam, and similar porous elastic materials is determined.
