Applications:
The Sliver Length Tester is mainly used to determine yarn length, linear density, and sliver strength. Specifically, it can be used to draw a certain length (e.g., 100 m or 50 m) from hanked yarn or cone yarn to measure yarn linear density (count or tex) and sliver strength.
Product Introduction:
This instrument is used to draw sliver from yarn hanks using a yarn frame, for measuring yarn linear density (or count) and conducting sliver breaking strength tests. Its performance meets the GB/4743 standard “Determination of Yarn Linear Density – Skein Method.” The machine features a simple structure, with a control system based on a PIC microcontroller, reliable software, and advanced integrated circuits. PWM technology enables wide-range stepless speed control. The number of turns and operation keys use touch buttons, making it very convenient to set the number of turns. The software also controls the last two turns to decelerate automatically and stop at a fixed position.
The applications of the Sliver Length Tester include:
1. Linear density measurement: By winding a specific number of yarn turns, calculating its length, and weighing it, the linear density of the yarn can be determined. This method complies with domestic and international standards such as GB/T 4743 and ISO 2060.2.
2. Sliver strength testing: Used to prepare specimens for yarn strength testing.
3. Textile industry applications: Widely used in textile companies, quality inspection agencies, and laboratories, providing fundamental data for yarn quality control.
