Yarn Twist Tester

Application Scope:

Mainly used for determining the twist, twist unevenness, and twist contraction of various yarns such as cotton, wool, silk, chemical fibers, as well as single yarns and plied yarns.

Product Introduction:

This instrument is used to determine the twist of various types of yarns.

Its performance complies with the latest national standards GB/T 2543.1–GB/T 2543.2-2001 “Textiles — Determination of Yarn Twist”, the international standard ISO 2061 “Textiles — Determination of Twist in Yarns — Direct Counting Method”, the former Ministry of Textile Industry standard FJ 547 “Test Methods for Grey Air-Jet Spun Cotton Yarn”, and the national industry standard FZ/T 10001 “Determination of Twist of Air-Jet Yarns — Untwist/Retwist Method”.

Main Structure:

The yarn twist tester mainly consists of a control box, tensioning mechanism, yarn insertion frame, and data processing system.

1.The control box is equipped with yarn clamps and various function switches. The right yarn clamp is directly driven by a micro motor.

2.The tensioning mechanism adopts a horizontal mechanical loading method, and the tension can be freely adjusted using weights according to the test method requirements.

3.The yarn insertion frame can be freely installed and adjusted by the user to meet different testing requirements.

4.The data processing system mainly consists of an internal computer, display, and printer.
