Scope of Application:
This UV accelerated aging test chamber uses imported UVA-340 fluorescent ultraviolet lamps as the light source to simulate damage caused by sunlight, rain, and dew. The UV weathering chamber utilizes fluorescent UV lamps to simulate the effects of solar radiation and condensation moisture to simulate dew formation.Test specimens are placed in a controlled environment where light exposure and moisture alternate in cyclic programs at a specified temperature, enabling accelerated weathering tests to evaluate material durability. The UV test chamber can reproduce damage that would normally occur outdoors over months or years within just a few days or weeks.Typical types of damage include fading, discoloration, loss of gloss, chalking, cracking, hazing, blistering, embrittlement, strength degradation, aging, and oxidation.
Product Overview:
This UV accelerated aging test chamber can simulate environmental conditions found in natural climates, including ultraviolet radiation, rainfall, high temperature, high humidity, condensation, and darkness. By reproducing these conditions and combining them into a programmed cycle, the chamber automatically performs repeated test cycles, which represents the working principle of the UV aging test chamber.During the testing process, the equipment automatically monitors the black panel temperature and water tank temperature. With an optional irradiance measurement and control system, the light irradiance can be measured and regulated to remain stable at 0.76 W/m² at 340 nm or at a user-specified set value, significantly extending the service life of the lamps. The chamber is also equipped with a spray system.
Complies with International Standards:
ASTM G153, ASTM G154, ASTM D4329, ASTM D4799, ASTM D4587, SAE J2020, ISO 4892, and all current UV aging test standards.
