HONGJIN
Scope of Application:
The bicycle assistance ratio test machine is mainly used for performance testing of electric pedal-assist bicycles (EPAC). Its core purpose is to evaluate the motor’s assistance to human pedaling, known as the “assistance ratio,” typically defined as the ratio of motor output power to human pedaling power.
Product Description:
1.Measures crank power and electric motor power at different speeds.
2.Applies load damping to the rear wheel to test the total power of the electric vehicle at different simulated gradients. The total power includes both crank power and motor output.
3.The rear wheel is loaded with damping via a servo motor, providing fast response.
4.The crank is driven by a servo motor, allowing flexible and precise speed setting.
Calculation Method:
P1=0.105×N×T P2’=0.278×V×F
P2=P2’+Pcl α=(P2-P1)÷P1
Where:
P1= Crank power
P2′= Total power (calculated component)
P2= Total power = crank power + motor power
α = (Total power − crank power) / crank power
