A four-roll calender is a type of calendering machine equipped with four rolls. The roll arrangements include T-type, L-type, S-type, and Z-type configurations, featuring high efficiency and high precision. It is mainly used for precision rolling of non-ferrous metals, microwave-absorbing materials, shielding materials, and magnetic materials.In the rubber industry, it is primarily used for fabric coating, steel cord fabric calendering, rubber sheeting, rubber blank forming, application of release films, and multi-layer rubber sheet laminating. Application Scope:

Working Principle:

One of the essential conditions for the calendering process is that the friction angle p between the rubber compound and the rolls must be greater than the contact angle α, so that the rubber can be drawn into the roll gap. During the calendering operation of a four-roll calender, the rolls run at specific speed ratios, allowing the rubber compound to be further kneaded and its plasticity to be increased.The rubber is then passed through the minimum roll gap and calendered into sheets with a specified thickness and width. Under the extrusion pressure of the rolls, the rubber sheet is pressed onto textile fabrics or steel cord fabrics. In some cases, the rubber is formed into specific patterns or shapes; in others, multiple layers of rubber sheets with different functions, colors, or shapes are laminated together.

9.The speed-ratio gears of the single-output-shaft structure adopt double helical (herringbone) gears, providing smooth transmission. The speed ratio can be adjusted by removing the key.

10.Various roll deflection compensation options are available, including roll crowning, reverse bending, and roll crossing.

11.Different levels of electrical control systems are available, including bus control systems, PLC control systems, and conventional control systems.

12.The single-output-shaft drive structure eliminates large and small driving gears.
